Mount Pelion,  the Gods’ countryside.
The Pelion Peninsula is one of the most iconic and beautiful places in Greece, a breathtaking destination for a truly romantic wedding experience.
Pelion is where a the lush green mountainous region meets the crystal clear waters of the Pagasitic Gulf comprising an ideal destination for romantics and rustic style lovers.  Bending over the pathways of the hills and slopes are thick chestnut forests and olive groves. Once the home of the mythical Centaurs, this is where Chiron the semi divine Centaur raised and instructed Achilles before he went to the Trojan war.  Laced with crystal, pristine beaches and abundant in breathtaking views,  the Pelion peninsula pokes out into the Aegean and then bends back towards the mainland about halfway between Athens and Thessaloniki. The city of Volos and its port sit at the top of this huge bay with Mount Pelion towering above them. Jason and his Argonauts sailed from Pagasae near Volos in search of the Golden Fleece.  Mount Pelion is dotted with Monasteries many dating back to the time of the Crusades.  Rich in cultural and historical traditions, the villages with unique architecture and houses with the prevalent “archontikon”style  are simply enchanting. The array of charming hotels  with seasoned professionals are found in these villages and in the Volos area, ready to take on a small or big and demanding wedding event.

Μεταξύ Αιγαίου και Παγασητικού Κόλπου, στο κέντρο της Ελλάδας, το Πήλιο δεσπόζει πάνω από τον Βόλο και αποτελούσε την κατοικία των Κενταύρων κατά την αρχαιότητα. Ηταν εδώ όπου ο ημίθεος Κένταυρος Χείρωνας ανάθρεψε και συμβούλευσε τον Αχιλλέα πριν φύγει για τον Τρωϊκό πόλεμο. Μοναστήρια από την εποχή των Σταυροφοριών διακρίνονται στις βουνοπλαγιές. Απο τις Πεγασές  κοντά στον Βόλο, απέπλευσε ο Ιάσωνας με τους Αργοναύτες για να φέρουν το Χρυσόμαλλο Δέρας στον Βασιλιά Πηλέα. Τα μαγευτικά χωριά ανάμεσα σε καστανιές και ελαιώνες, με την ιδιαίτερη αρχιτεκτονική και τα αρχοντικά αποτελούν ένα ειδυλλιακό σκηνικό.  Η φυσική ομορφιά, η αύρα του κι οι χιλιάδες ζεστές εικόνες σε όλη την έκτασή του, σίγουρα θα σας προσκαλέσουν να πραγματοποιήσετε έναν άκρως ρομαντικό γάμο.
