Πολλοί από τους έρωτες της εποχής μας γεννιούνται -ευτυχώς ή δυστυχώς- στο διαδίκτυο και στην περίπτωση της Jonessa και του Grady ευτυχώς, που και οι δύο ήταν ανοιχτοί στο να γνωρίσουν τον κόσμο των dating apps και ως εκ τούτου, να γνωρίσουν ο ένας τον άλλον.
Από τα small talks στο app γεννήθηκε ο έρωτάς τους, η σχέση τους και 3,5 χρόνια μετά, ήρθε η πρόταση γάμου στην καφετέρια που είχαν βγει το πρώτο τους ραντεβού με ένα γράμμα ερωτική εξομολόγηση από τον Grady στη γυναίκα της ζωής του και τους πιο κοντινούς τους ανθρώπους να δακρύζουν από χαρά τη στιγμή που ακούστηκε το “I do” από τα χείλη της Jonessa.
Λίγο καιρό αργότερα, την περασμένη άνοιξη, ταξίδεψαν όλοι μαζί από τις ΗΠΑ στην κοσμοπολίτικη Σαντορίνη. Εκεί, στη μαγευτική Καλντέρα της Οίας τελέστηκε ο γάμος με φόντο το μοναδικής ομορφιάς ηλιοβασίλεμα και διοργανώθηκε ένα ξέφρενο πάρτι με πυροτεχνήματα να κάνουν τη νύχτα μέρα και διασκέδαση μέχρι το πρωί. «Ο πεθερός μου δεν θα μπορούσε να εκφράσει αυτό που νιώσαμε καλύτερα, όταν μου ψιθύρισε στο αυτί: “Κάποιος να με τσιμπήσει γιατί όλη αυτή η μαγεία δεν μπορεί να είναι αληθινή!”», θυμάται η Jonessa.
Κι όμως, ήταν χάρη στους έμπειρους επαγγελματίες με τους οποίους συνεργάστηκαν, ανάμεσά τους η Χριστίνα και ο Στάθηςτου Studio 123 Photography. Mέσα από μία όμορφη, δίχως άγχος συνεργασία, τους χάρισαν αξεπέραστες εικόνες, και κατάφεραν, έστω και με εξ αποστάσεως επικοινωνία, να ξεπεράσουν κάθε προσδοκία. Η Jonessa τους περιγράφει ως "ένα θαυμαστό ζευγάρι φίλων που νιώσαμε ότι γνωρίζαμε μία ζωή" Η φλοράλ διακόσμηση υπό την επιμέλεια των Red Box Days κυριαρχούσε και εντυπωσίαζε με το εκλεπτυσμένο ύφος και έναν χείμαρρο σωμόν και ροζ χρωμάτων, τόσο στην τελετή όσο και στο γαμήλιο πάρτι.
This love story began as most modern-day romances now do: via a dating app. After chatting away for hours, they decided to meet up for a coffee. From their first live encounter, they knew they would change each other’s lives. They became inseparable, and, as fate would have it, they also lived a mere five minutes away.
Three and a half years later, Grady proposed to Jonessa in the same coffee shop where it all began. Jonessa said YES to the romantic proposal sprinkled with rose petals and love letters, with friends and family celebrating with the joyous couple.
With such an exciting start, the wedding day could be nothing less than fairytale magic. Set on the magical Greek island of Santorini, Jonessa & Grady’s wedding felt like a dream-like experience. Stunning in her elegant wedding dress and with a backdrop of regal decorations, Jonessa glowed with happiness as this was a day they would all remember. “The location was breathtaking,” Jonessa describes adding that the venue was beyond anything they could have ever imagined. From the majestically decorated villa to the enchanting caldera views, both the couple and guests were enamoured with the scenery.
Jonessa & Grady’s stunning photos are the work of wedding photographers Christina and Stathis of Studio 123 Photography, who tended to every need and made them feel at ease, capturing every moment of that mesmerising day. Jonessa describes them as “an admirable couple of friends we felt we knew for a lifetime”. The floral decorations from Red Box Days were, to say the least, impressive with eclectic style and a stunning torrent of salmon and pink colours during both the ceremony and reception.
