Όσο κλισέ κι αν ακούγεται δεν υπάρχει νύφη που όταν έρθει η στιγμή του γάμου της να μην θέλει να τον ζήσει σαν πριγκίπισσα του παραμυθιού. Κάπως έτσι, το είχε ονειρευτεί και η Arlinda, όταν ταξίδεψε το καλοκαίρι με τον μέλλοντα σύζυγό της από τις ΗΠΑ στην Ελλάδα. Είχε προηγηθεί βέβαια και η πρόταση γάμου σε ένα ιστορικό ξενοδοχείο-κάστρο Οheka Castle στο Λονγκ Άιλαντ της Νέας Υόρκης, που τη μεταμόρφωσε σε σύγχρονη Σταχτοπούτα: έχασε τη μία γόβα της καθώς περπατούσαν στους ολάνθιστους κήπους, και λυγισμένος στο ένα γόνατο, της το φόρεσε ξανά στο πόδι.
Τελικά, η Arlinda έζησε τον γάμο της σαν «Ελληνίδα Θεά», όπως χαρακτηριστικά μας είπε. Παρουσία φίλων και συγγενών, παντρεύτηκε τον αγαπημένο της με πολιτικό γάμο, εκεί όπου έκαναν τις πρώτες τους καλοκαιρινές διακοπές, στον Πόρο. Η τελετή, παρομοίως και η γαμήλια δεξίωση με τον κομψό και ρομαντικό ανθοστολισμό με λυσσίανθο και γυψοφίλλη, εξέπεμπε την καθαρότητα και διαχρονικότητα του λευκού που πρωταγωνιστούσε. Το cascade νυφικό μπουκέτο με λευκές ορχιδέες ήταν η τέλεια πινελιά στην τόσο λαμπερή εμφάνιση της Arlinda.
Στη μοναδική βεράντα του Siroco Mar Receptions και με την βοήθεια της wedding planner Mαρίας Μωροπούλου με το μπλε του ουρανού να ενώνεται με το μπλε της θάλασσας, έφτιαξαν το παραμύθι της κοινής τους ζωής.Η wedding photographer Έλενα Μωραΐτη δημιούργησε το άλμπουμ των πιο ευτυχισμένων τους στιγμών. “H Έλενα πραγματικά με έκανε να νιώσω όμορφη την ημέρα του γάμου» πρόσθέτει η Αrlinda.
Arlinda & Michael: A Modern Cinderella's Wedding in Poros
Arlinda and Michael travelled from the US to their cherished Greek island to celebrate their love in a setting close to their hearts.
Like many brides, Arlinda dreamed of her wedding as a fairytale as her story began with a truly magical proposal. At the historic Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York, Arlinda lost one of her shoes while strolling through the vibrant gardens. In a moment worthy of a modern Prince Charming, Michael on one knee, gently slipped the shoe back onto her foot. At that moment Arlinda knew he was the right person for her.
On her wedding day, Arlinda described feeling like a "Greek Goddess." Surrounded by close friends and family, she married the love of her life in a civil ceremony on the island of Poros, where the couple had once shared their first summer vacation. The ceremony and reception were a vision of elegance, adorned with romantic floral arrangements of lisianthus, and baby's breath designed by Anagno Floral Creations. White, in all its timeless beauty, reigned over the day, symbolizing purity, grace, and everlasting love. On the breathtaking terrace of Siroco Mar Receptions, with the guidance of wedding planner Maria Moropoulou, the couple's dream day unfolded against the stunning backdrop of the sky and sea merging into endless blue. Wedding photographer Elena Moraiti captured their most joyous moments, with Arlinda reflecting, "Elena truly made me feel beautiful on my wedding day."
